We do not accept insurance, but it is important to us that you get the help you need. If you have out-of-network insurance benefits, you may be eligible to be reimbursed by your insurance company. Typically the process for using out-of-network benefits involves paying for services out-of-pocket, providing your insurance company with a "Super bill" that we provide you, and then receiving direct reimbursement from insurance. If you choose not to use insurance - or if you do not have out-of-network benefits, you can pay by using a Health Savings Account (HSA) card, credit card, check or cash.
Although we do not discourage people from using their health insurance benefits, a couple of benefits of not using insurance include: 1) being able to select any therapist you want to work with and 2) keeping private information off of your health record and keeping your private affairs between you and your therapist.
Although we can't guarantee reimbursement from your insurance company if you elect to use out-of-network benefits, many people we work with have had claims successfully paid. If you are unsure about your coverage, call your insurance company and ask if you have out-of-network benefits for mental health that will allow you to select the therapist of your choice whether or not they are in-network. You may also want to know what your deductible is and what percentage they will reimburse after meeting your deductible.
